Advisory
Technical advice for non-technical leaders, and second opinions for technical ones. We help you understand the options, judge the trade-offs, and pick the right path — without jargon and without selling you the next platform.
Experimentation
We design, build, and run proofs of concept, prototypes and field trials, using the Stockholm archipelago as our testbed whenever we can. We work on specific parts of a project or deliver end-to-end prototypes including sensors, data pipelines, backend and frontend.
Partnership
Long-term engagement where we share the risk and the reward. We take projects from concept to production, or provide technical leadership to an existing team, especially at the start of your tech journey.

Three steps, no surprises, no commitment until you're ready.
Step 1
We always start with a lunch — no slides, no pitch. Just a conversation about who you are, what you're trying to do, and whether we're the right fit. We give honest feedback on the spot, including if we think your idea won't work or if we're not the right people for it.

Step 2
We return home, think carefully about your project, and do some focused research. Then we come back with a short feasibility note covering both the technical and business dimensions — what's realistic, what the risks are, short and long term, and what a sensible path forward looks like.

Once we have a shared view of the problem, we just get to work. We stay close — you hear from us regularly, not only when there's something to deliver. And we stay honest: if something changes or a better path appears, we say so.

About
Trälhavet Technologies is named after the bay between Åkersberga and Vaxholm, north of Stockholm — the body of water between the two of us. It sets the tempo for how we work, and it's where we take on the work that genuinely interests us.
Who we are
We started Trälhavet Technologies alongside our main careers — Nicolas in AI, Alex in applied research — because we wanted somewhere to do work that genuinely interested us, done the way we believed it should be done. Just a place for the good work. Not to build a consultancy empire.
